"Snowman Milk Sippers"

What do you get with a box of powder Munchkins, milk, left over orange candy, sprinkles, an old frappachino bottle? Snowman Milk Sippers!!! This was a totally cute idea that I got from BHG and the children loved all the little touches! You've gotta try this at home!

Cream of Wheat Bread

So I think I'm getting the hang of this baking from scratch thing! I like to keep the momentum going, so I wanted to try "Cream of Wheat Bread!" It taste awsome! I think the next time I'm going to make it for breakfast, because it just has that kinda "breakfasty" taste. But I'm really encouraging you guys to try it!



(some ingredients are missing from this pic, but recipe below)
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 cup of Cream of Wheat
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup of evaporated milk
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg (beaten)
1/3 cup of veg oil

I also added cinnamon & rasin!

Holiday Cheer

Dear Santa,
Could you please bring me a red stand alone Kitchen Aid mixer & and 2 cast iron skillets, pretty-please..... (I hope he gets this!)LOL!! Well, I thought 2 myself the other day, why don't I know how to make cornbread from scratch?!? We really do live in a fastfood nation! We want everything sooooo quick, quick, quick that we hardly ever take the time to enjoy the fun in cooking. So, please try this at home. It was very easy and just tasty as Jiffy!

"Candy" Theme Babyshower

Talk about SWEET! I meet a young lady on facebook that says, "My favorite candies are starburst, blow pops & skittles; do u think you could do a babyshower around that?" And, for an entire month I felt like a kid in a candy store! So I hope you enjoy my sweet creations!

"King of the Jungle"

Last month, I met young lady that was expecting a little boy. She said her friend told her that I "do babyshowers." She had a plate set ( The king of the Jungle set by Halmark) that she loved and she didn't know what to do with it. But, she knew she wanted to use it for her babyshower! She said for me to do what I love, & this is what I came up with! I hope you guys enjoy it!
